Mark your calendars for Sept. 6-7, 2008, as Honey Creek Resort hosts Forever Outdoors, a festival sponsored by Iowa Pheasants Forever (PF) and Quail Forever (QF). Forever Outdoors will be the first major special event to be featured at the new resort state park on Rathbun Lake in south-central Iowa.
Outdoors exhibitors and dog kennels, habitat tours, dog training and habitat seminars, youth activities, dog competitions, exhibition shooting and a shotgun showcase are just a few of the many activities families will enjoy.
Forever Outdoors is expected to draw several thousand visitors and vendors to the area for the two-day event. The event promises to provide something for everyone in the family.
